1. Complete all four Must Do's and one May Do of your choice.

1) 40 Maps (don't forget your Frames of Reference!)

Defining in Context (Facts! At least three sources!)
Describing
Comparing and Contrasting
Classifying (put facts into groups or categories)
Whole-to-part (physical object)
Sequence (put in order some events or steps in a process)
Cause-and-effect (causes and effects of some event)
Seeing analogies (comparing relationships)

2) Compose an Expository (informational) essay (typed or inked; if typed, double-spaced). Include a paragraph (or paragraphs) about your future achievements.

3) "Presidential" Portrait (8 1/2" x 11"; portrait orientation)

Diorama
Bust/Model/Realia (handmade)
Video (storyboard first)
Comic (storyboard first)
Web page/post
Dramatization (script first)
Compose a poem (acrostic, haiku, etc.) or song
Mural

Life-size figure (seated in chair)

Display work above desk (cardstock, glitter sticks, stickers).

Your work should be:

-neat
-in full-color, free of (plain) pencil, no crayon
-entirely your own work
-spelled and punctuated properly
-free of any plagiarism

When using a word processor (Microsoft Word, LibreOffice, or Works), save file as *.rtf.

When creating a powerpoint, save as *.ppt.
